St George
A somewhat derelict church with a sundial over the south porch. It's worth taking a look inside the porch, where there are six vaguely grotesque wooden heads supporting the woodwork. The gnomon of the sundial has been inexpertly repaired by putting a rod sticking horizontally out of the centre of the dial. This ensures a varying inaccuracy over the year, but is better than nothing. It's out of keeping with the delicacy of the dial engraving from more cheerful times, but melds with the sombre air of decline at the site.
